There have been several changes to the walks program and upcoming events. Please check the walks program on this site to make sure that you are aware of the latest information.
Clothing
A waterproof jacket and waterproof over-trousers are advisable if rain is forecast. Always be prepared for a sudden change in the forecast.
You will need insulating and breathable layers. You can easily get cold when you stop walking, so pack an extra layer just in case.
All clothing should be comfortable. Avoid fabrics which might take time to dry out if they get wet, such as cotton and denim.
Sturdy walking boots are a must, or even walking wellies if the the paths are likely to be very muddy.
